Following St Cuthbert’s Way and the Borders Abbeys Way (both routes are one of Scotland’s Great Trails) you can enjoy this route from Morebattle to Jedburgh.

Take the public bus from Jedburgh to Morebattle to the start of your walk. You will pass the impressive ruin of Cessford Castle which has interpretation boards for your information and is worth taking time to visit.
