About This Route
This circular route follows the Borders Abbeys Way along the banks of the River Teviot and returns to Kelso partly along an old railway line. The River Teviot rises in the foothills of Comb Hill on the border with Dumfries and Galloway; it joins the River Tweed to the southwest of Kelso.
