About This Route

A pleasant circular mainly through forest and woodland with a section following the banks of the River Tweed. Enjoy the views from the site of the roundhouse. The descent from the Buzzard’s Nest becomes steep with clear views over to the iconic Lee Pen. There are amenities at Glentress Visitor Centre including a cafe. You will return along the Tweed Valley Railway Path.
