About This Route
Hirsel Estate has a tea-room, information centre, craft shops and a museum as well as its gardens and policy woodlands. The route we recommend for easy access includes the Estate’s suggested black route with views of the Hirsel Lake and their walled garden. The Hirsel lies to the west of Coldstream apretty historic town by the Anglo-Scots border, the river Tweed here is halfed between the two nations.
