Glenkinnon Community Woodland

About This Route

Although this is a very short route there is still a climb at the start but you will be rewarded with an excellent interpreted biodiversity trail. Although owned by Forestry Commission Scotland the woodland is manged by Borders Forest Trust. The community section was a clearfell that was planted with native hardwoods to encourage greater biodiversity on the site.

Clovenfords and Peel lie 2 miles and 3 miles to the west of Galashiels respectively.
