This very short circular around Tweedbank Park and Gunknowe Loch was intended as a family nature trail which anyone can enjoy.

The route description guides you as to what wildlife you are most likely to see. There is a play park for younger children near the loch.

Tweedbank lies to the east of Galashiels, south of the River Tweed and is the terminus of the Border Railway.
