A pleasant circular walk through riverside woodland and along country roads. Hutton is a small settlement lying east of Chirnside by the Whiteadder Water.

Its church was dedicated in 1243 and up until 1652 people brought their own seats to sit on.

Hutton lies 3 miles south-east of Chirnside. It is not on the route but has a variety of facilities.
