Eyemouth Town Trail
About This Route
Lying at the mouth of the Eye Water, Eyemouth is a busy fishing port whose history includes smuggling, shipwrecks and witch burning. The purpose of the town trail is to allow the visitor to see how Eyemouth’s buildings are a key to her heritage. There are plaques on the buildings that are highlighted in the trail. This will give you an opportunity to explore streets that you might not have thought to visit.
