Eyemouth and Gunsgreen House
About This Route
This route allows you to explore the Eyemouth Harbour and the prominent Gunsgreen House. Eyemouth has been Scotland’s largest south-eastern port since 1482 and is still a bustling fishing port today. Gunsgreen House looks out over the harbour built by a local smuggler who made his fortune from ‘free trade’ in the mid 1700’s.
